SMS ESS Notify is a mobile application developed for authorized customers of Security & Management Services (Private) Limited (SMS). The Application provides notifications regarding the security status of users' premises, including but not limited to armed/disarmed status, alarm events, and other important security-related updates.
The Application is intended solely for authorized users whose accounts have been created by SMS administrators. Users cannot self-register through the Application.
Account Information
Your phone number is stored securely on SMS servers for authentication and account management purposes.
Device Information
The Application does not intentionally collect any additional device identifiers except those necessary for the operation of the Application.
The Application does not collect or request access to device location, camera, photos or media library, files or storage, contacts, or microphone.
The Application does not collect personal information such as full name, email address, postal address, or profile photographs unless such information is separately maintained within SMS business systems outside the Application.
The Application does not collect precise or background location information.
The information collected is used solely for authenticating authorized users, providing access to the Application, delivering security-related notifications, maintaining the security and integrity of the Application, and supporting, maintaining, and improving the services provided by SMS.
We do not use your information for advertising or marketing purposes.
The Application requests permission to send push notifications. These notifications may include armed/disarmed status updates, alarm events, security-related updates, and other important operational notifications related to your monitored premises.
Users may disable notifications through their device settings.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) is operated by Google and may process limited technical information required to deliver notifications in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy, solely for delivering push notifications.
SMS does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
User account information is stored on servers owned and managed by Security & Management Services (Private) Limited. SMS implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and SMS cannot guarantee absolute security.
Personal information shall be retained only for as long as necessary to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
If you believe your account information is inaccurate or wish to request removal of your account, you may contact your organization's administrator or SMS using the contact information below. Users may also request correction of inaccurate information, deletion (where legally permissible), and access to information maintained about them.
The Application is designed for authorized users of SMS security services and is not intended for use by children.
SMS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page together with an updated Effective Date.
SMS may disclose personal information where required by applicable law, court order, regulatory authority, or governmental agency, or where such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SMS, its customers, or others.
